What are the benefits of working with a Holistic Nutritionist?

Working with a holistic nutritionist means looking at your whole health picture. We explore not just what you eat, but also how supplements, herbs, sleep, daily habits, and your environment affect your wellbeing. The goal is to help you make personalized, sustainable changes that support your health and goals.

Do I need to follow a strict diet?

Not at all! My approach is about helping you tune into your body and discover what foods feel best for you. We may talk about foods to focus on or limit, but the emphasis is on learning to listen to your body and creating habits that are sustainable—without stress or rigid rules.

What does a typical session look like?

Your first session is an intake, where we review your health history, goals, and current challenges. From there, I’ll share personalized recommendations for foods, herbs, supplements, and lifestyle habits. Follow-up sessions are all about adjusting your plan, tackling challenges, and keeping you on track.

How long are appointments, and how often will we meet?

  • First session: 75 minutes
  • Follow-ups: 60 minutes I usually recommend meeting every 3–4 weeks. This keeps things manageable, helps you stay on track, and gives us time to adjust your plan as needed.

Do I need to buy special foods or products?

Recommendations are tailored to your lifestyle and preferences, with small, realistic shifts over time. The focus is on making changes that work for you—whether that’s tweaking recipes you already love or introducing a few new foods—without a big, expensive overhaul.

Do you work with people online or in person?

I primarily work online via Google Meet, which makes it easy to connect from anywhere. In-person sessions are possible in special circumstances.

Do you accept insurance or health spending accounts?

I don’t currently accept insurance or provide registered receipts. Depending on your provider, services may be eligible under a general health spending or wellness account, so it’s worth checking with them directly.
